POS plugin configuration

Note: Before you can start with the plugin configuration, you first need to complete the previous setup steps. You can find a list of all setup steps in the order we recommend here.

Now check the settings in the plugin configuration. You can find them under Settings → Basic settings (Grundeinstellungen) → Further settings (Weitere Einstellungen) → Pickware POS. Use the tabs at the top to select the corresponding subshop that you previously created for your store.

  • Shipping method for in-store sales (Versandart Ladenverkauf) – Select the shipping method that you previously created here.

  • Payment method for ZVT card terminal (Zahlungsart für ZVT-Kartenterminal) – Select the payment method that should be used for card payments via the ZVT terminal.

  • Cash payment method (Bar-Zahlungsart) – Select the payment method you want to use for cash payments in your stores.

  • iZettle payment method (iZettle Zahlungsart) – Select the payment method that should be available for card payments via Zettle by Paypal.

  • Other payment methods (Fremde Zahlungsarten) – Select additional payment methods that should be available for selection at the POS, such as Invoice.

  • Default customer (Standard-Kunde) – Enter the customer number of the customer whose customer account should be used by default for POS orders, if no specific customer is selected at the register. You can create a default customer in the backend via Customers → Create.

  • Comments for cash deposits/withdrawals (Kommentare für Ein-/Auszahlungen) – Here you can specify which comments are available to you for manual cash deposits and withdrawals at the register. By default, the comments "Bareinlage" (cash deposit) and "Barentnahme" (cash withdrawal) are available.

  • Shipping methods for click & collect (Versandarten für Click & Collect) – Orders with the shipping methods stored here are displayed in the POS App for pickup, provided their order status is Open or Ready for delivery. Here, enter the previously set up shipping methods for pickup.

  • Placeholder payment method for click & collect (Platzhalter-Zahlungsart für Click & Collect) – Enter the payment method here that can be selected in the shop or in the store if the goods are only to be paid for when picked up by the customer in the store. This will then be replaced by the actual payment method when payment is made later in the store.
Note: Orders created at the POS with the placeholder payment method will always subsequently have the payment status Open. The placeholder payment method therefore does not need to be additionally entered in the Payment method with payment status Open field.
Note: The placeholder payment method is only offered when placing an order via the POS App if one of the POS shipping methods for click & collect has previously been selected. The placeholder payment method therefore does not need to be additionally entered in the Other payment methods field.

  • Payment methods with payment status Open (Zahlungsarten mit Zahlungsstatus Offen) – Select the payment methods for which the payment status of the order should be set to Open instead of Fully paid after the sale at the POS. This would, for example, be correct for purchases on account.

  • Show warning for overselling (Warnung bei Überverkauf anzeigen) – Select here whether the stock warning should be activated.

  • Combine product variants (Artikelvarianten zusammenfassen) – Select here whether variants of the same product should be displayed combined in the search results of the POS App.

  • Automatic receipt printing (Automatischer Belegdruck) – Select here whether a receipt should be printed automatically after a sale or return has been successfully completed.

  • Receipt free text (left-aligned / centered) (Kassenbon Freitext (linksbündig / zentriert)) – Enter the desired free text here, which should be printed on the receipt at the end of the document.

  • Image for receipts in 2” / 3” (Bild für Kassenbons in 2” / 3”) – The image selected here is printed on all receipts with a 2"/3" receipt printer. The image should be a black-and-white .png file with a maximum width of 384 pixels for 2" printers and 576 pixels for 3" printers. Wider images are automatically adjusted to the ideal dimensions.
