Analyze stock and trigger reorders with Pickware AI

Use Pickware AI to analyze stock, spot slow-moving items, calculate days of supply and prepare reorders.

Which products are running low? Where is capital tied up in goods that hardly sell? And what urgently needs to be reordered? With Pickware AI, you get answers to these questions in seconds — without exports, pivot tables or manual filtering.

Find products below the reorder point

The most common starting point for stock analysis:

Which products are below the reorder point and need to be reordered?

Pickware AI lists all products whose available stock falls below the defined reorder point. This way, you can see at a glance where action is needed. You can also ask the question with specific thresholds:

Which products have fewer than 5 units in stock?

Identify out-of-stock products

To see right away what is completely sold out:

Which products currently have stock 0?

It becomes especially valuable in combination with open orders:

Which products with stock 0 appear in open orders, and what is the open quantity per product?

This way, you see not only what is missing, but also how many customers are affected.

Analyze days of supply and sales velocity

Beyond the plain stock figure, Pickware AI helps you estimate how long your stock will last:

How much longer will our stock of product XY last, based on sales over the last 30 days?

Based on sales velocity, Pickware AI calculates how many days the current stock is expected to last. For products with variants, you can also request the analysis per variant:

Show me the days of supply per size for the Oversize Tee Washed Black.

Identify slow-moving items and tied-up capital

Missing goods aren't the only problem — goods that don't move also tie up capital. Ask Pickware AI about slow-moving items:

Which products have high stock but hardly any sales in the last 90 days?

Or ask specifically about tied-up capital:

Which product groups tie up the most capital while selling little?

This way, you identify products where a price adjustment, a promotion or a return to the supplier might make sense.

Prepare a reorder

Once you know what is missing, you can trigger a reorder directly:

Create a supplier order for all products below the reorder point with the respective supplier.

Pickware AI assigns the products to the defined suppliers and creates the orders. Afterwards, check the created supplier orders in the Admin before you send them.

You can also reorder from a specific supplier:

What did we order from supplier X last quarter? Reorder the same again.

Tips for stock analyses

  • Specify time ranges — "Sales of the last 30 days" gives more meaningful results than "current sales". Depending on seasonality, a longer time range can also make sense.

  • Double-check figures — Pickware AI is based on an AI language model. Amounts and calculations can be inaccurate. Use the results as a starting point and verify critical figures in the Admin.

  • Dig deeper step by step — Start with a broad question and then narrow it down. For example, first "What is below the reorder point?", then "Of those: What appears in open orders?"
