Pickware splits a product set into its assigned products as soon as it is saved in an order, and reserves their stock in the process. This applies to every way a product set can get into the order: order placement in the shop, adding it later in the Shopware Admin, exchange, API or import, for example from a marketplace connector.
When Pickware splits a product set
After the split, the assigned products appear in the order as separate line items at €0 below the product set line item.
If you edit an order in the Shopware Admin, Pickware splits a newly added product set as soon as you save the order.
If you change the quantity of a product set in the order, Pickware adjusts the quantities of the assigned products. Changes you made yourself to the assigned products are kept.
Tip: In an order draft, don't additionally add the set with its individual parts, otherwise the products will appear twice in the order.
The product set is not split
If a product set in an order is not split, first check whether your Pickware extension is up to date. Older versions only split product sets when the order was placed in the shop. Product sets that were added later and product sets from imports remained unsplit.
After the update, Pickware splits such a product set the next time its order line item is saved.
Checking the split and stock in the order
In the burger menu of the product set line item in the order, you can see all components of the product set along with their stock.
Pickware splits according to the composition the product set had when it was first split in this order. If you change the product set afterwards, for example by adding a product, existing orders remain unchanged.
