If all POS licenses are in use, first remove the old device in your Pickware Account. The license is then free and you can set up the new iPad.
Attention: Before swapping the device, perform a cash register closing on the old cash register. A closing after the fact is not possible.
Remove the old device and set up the new iPad
Log in to your Pickware Account at account.pickware.com.
Open device management and remove the device you no longer use. You can find out where to find it in Where do I manage my connected devices?
Continue the setup of the POS App on the new iPad. You can keep the existing branch store and cash register.

Can I delete a cash register?
You cannot remove a cash register entry you have created yourself. It does not affect sales or fiscalization.
Book additional licenses
You can book additional POS licenses yourself in your Pickware Account under Abrechnung → Plan & Gerätelizenzen (Billing → Plan & Device licenses) and confirm the change via Zur Kasse (Checkout). The additional booking is active immediately and adopts your billing interval: if you pay annually, it becomes an annual license.
