Before you can assign FedEx products to your shipping methods and automatically create labels, you need to configure a few settings.
Note: The FedEx integration is available from the Pickware Professional plan.
Registering with FedEx
To create shipping labels for FedEx in Pickware, you need a FedEx business account. You start the registration under Settings → Extensions (Erweiterungen) → FedEx:
Read the FedEx End User License Agreement (EULA) in full, all the way to the end, and accept it. The EULA is only available in English.
Enter the data stored in your FedEx account and click Validate address.
Then select under Verification method how you want to confirm the registration. Which methods are available (Invoice, Email, SMS, or Phone call) is determined by FedEx for your account.
For Email, SMS, or Phone call, click Send code. FedEx sends the verification code to the email address or phone number stored in your FedEx account, not to the email address of your Pickware account. Enter the code under Verification code and click Confirm code.
For Invoice, you instead enter the details of a recent FedEx invoice, for example the Invoice number.
If no code arrives, check the contact details in your FedEx account or choose a different verification method. Use Resend code to request a new code, or Reset registration to start the registration over from the beginning.
FedEx sandbox
If you want to use the test environment instead of the production environment, enable the sandbox option in the Validate address step.
Customs information for shipping to third countries
For shipments to countries outside the EU, FedEx can use the export and customs data stored in your orders, for example to create a commercial invoice.
Label settings
Depending on the FedEx product you choose, you can set the label or paper format for your FedEx shipping labels.
