The Shopify Bundles app, developed by Shopify itself, can be used to offer simple product combinations. The Shopify Bundles app automatically calculates the availability of the bundle parent. Bundle management takes place directly in your Shopify Admin. That means you don't need to manually configure the Shopify Bundles app.
Function & display in orders
Your customers will also see a single product in the storefront listing. In the checkout, however, they'll see which products are assigned to a bundle. | |
In Shopify, the order only includes the bundle children. Each bundle child has a note indicating which bundle it belongs to. The price of each individual bundle child is automatically split so that their sum matches the price of the bundle. This price cannot be influenced. | |
Similarly, the bundle children are displayed in Pickware, but the bundle parent is not. | |
The WMS App also only displays the bundle children. | |
The bundle children are also shown on order documents with their automatically assigned prices. |
Compatibility with marketplaces
By default, bundles cannot be transferred from Shopify to marketplaces. However, in combination with Shopify Marketplace Connect, the Marketplace Connect support team can enable a beta feature that correctly writes bundle information into marketplace orders. This allows bundles from the Shopify Bundles app to be correctly transferred into orders as a beta feature. You can find more information about Shopify Marketplace Connect here.
Limitations
The app automatically splits the total price of the bundle proportionally across the included products.
This price distribution cannot be adjusted.
