Where can I view and manage my fiskaly branches?

In your Pickware Account under Shop POS → KassenSichV (DE) you'll find an overview of your branches and the respective connected registers. By clicking on the branch name, you can also go directly to the fiskaly Dashboard, where you can view further information.

How do I register my register with the tax office (KassenSichV notification)?

For Pickware POS in Germany, electronic cash register systems must be registered with the tax office. You can submit this registration directly from your Pickware Account.

Under Shop → POS → KassenSichV (DE) you'll find a notice for each branch whenever a registration is required – for example, when setting up a new register, changing branch or register data, or decommissioning.

If a branch or register has been permanently decommissioned (e.g. because a POS device license has been cancelled and a register/branch remains deactivated), you must report the decommissioning to the tax office. This report is not made automatically by Pickware. Use the designated reporting channels for this (e.g. via ELSTER) and, if in doubt, clarify with your tax advisor what is required in your case.

Click the corresponding button in the respective branch to create the report. You'll then get an overview of all relevant data (taxable entity, branch, register) and can review this before submitting. After submission, the report is automatically transmitted to the tax office.

You can view the transmission status as well as proof of transmission at any time in the same view. If errors occur, they will also be displayed there.

Deactivating branches

In the same place, you can also deactivate or reactivate branches using the corresponding button.

Deactivating/reactivating in Pickware is a technical (de)activation. If a branch is permanently no longer being operated, also observe the note about the decommissioning report above.

Deactivating individual registers within a branch

If you want to have one or more registers of a branch deactivated, please contact our support team. We will then carry out the deactivation for you manually.

Reactivating branches

If branches have not been used for an extended period, Pickware may temporarily deactivate them. If you try to connect your app to a deactivated branch, a corresponding error message will appear.

If you have already connected your iOS device to a branch that has since been deactivated and try to process sales through it, an error message will also appear.

In both cases, you can easily reactivate your branch under Shop POS → KassenSichV (DE) by clicking on Reactivate branch. Afterwards, you must log out of the POS App and close the app completely. Then you must go through the app setup again to be able to connect to the desired branch again.
