Where can I view and manage my fiskaly locations?

In your Pickware account under Shop POS → KassenSichV (DE), you'll find an overview of your locations and the respective connected cash registers. Clicking on the location name also takes you directly to the fiskaly Dashboard, where you can view further information.

How do I register my cash register with the tax office (KassenSichV notification)?

For Pickware POS in Germany, electronic cash register systems must be registered with the tax office. You can submit this notification directly from your Pickware account.

Under Shop → POS → KassenSichV (DE), you'll find a notice for each location whenever a notification is required — for example, when setting up a new cash register, changing location or cash register data, or decommissioning.

If a location or cash register has been permanently decommissioned (e.g., because a POS device license was cancelled and a cash register/location remains deactivated), you must report the decommissioning to the tax office. This notification is not made automatically by Pickware. Use the designated reporting channels (e.g., via ELSTER) and, if in doubt, clarify with your tax advisor what is required in your case.

Click the corresponding button at the relevant location to create the notification. You'll then get an overview of all relevant data (taxpayer, location, cash register) and can review it before submitting. Once submitted, the notification is automatically transmitted to the tax office.

You can view the transmission status and proof of transmission at any time in the same view. If errors occur, they'll also be displayed there.

Decommissioning locations

In this same section, you can also decommission or reactivate locations using the corresponding button.

Decommissioning/reactivating in Pickware is a technical (de)activation. If a location is permanently no longer operated, please also refer to the note about decommissioning notifications above.

Decommissioning individual cash registers within a location

If you want to have one or more cash registers at a location decommissioned, please contact our support team. We'll then decommission them manually for you.

Reactivating locations

If locations haven't been used for an extended period, Pickware may temporarily decommission them. If you try to connect your app to a decommissioned location, a corresponding error message will appear.

If you've already connected your iOS device to a location that has since been decommissioned and try to process sales through it, an error message will also appear.

In both cases, you can easily reactivate your location under Shop POS → KassenSichV (DE) by clicking Reactivate location. Afterwards, you must log out of the POS App and close the app completely. Then you need to go through the app setup again in order to reconnect to the desired location.
