Setting up Click & Collect (optional)

With Click & Collect, you give your customers the option to pick up items ordered online at your store. They can either pay for their orders online in advance or on site at your store, or have products set aside at your store to pick up at a later time. Below you'll find all the steps to set up Click & Collect.

You'll find all the information on creating and processing Click & Collect orders in the online shop and store in this article.

Creating shipping and payment methods for Click & Collect

To enable Click & Collect orders for your customers, you need to create an additional shipping method in the Shopware 5 backend under Settings Shipping Costs and activate it for every store where orders should be picked up. It's a good idea to restrict the country selection to the country the respective store is located in, so that customers from other countries don't see these shipping methods as an option.

You can also create a custom payment method under Settings Shipping Costs if you want to give your customers the option to pay for their orders only upon pickup.

Configuring Click & Collect orders for Pickware WMS

To make sure Click & Collect orders are also taken into account during picking with Pickware WMS, you need to carry out the following steps under Settings Basic Settings → Further Settings Shopware WMS:

  • Shipping - Payment methods with delivery note instead of invoice Add "Payment upon pickup" here.

  • Shipping - Third-party shipping methods Enter the shipping method for self-pickup here.

Finally, you can create an additional pick profile to be able to view self-pickup orders directly in the WMS App. The pick profile should have the following rules:
