Creating a bundle product
Create a new product and save it, or open an existing one.
In the product details, on the Basic information (Stammdaten) tab, enable the Bundle product checkbox and then save the product.
If you want to define several existing products as a bundle, you can also use the Shopware bulk edit function.
Editing a bundle product
To edit a bundle product, first open the product and then go to the Bundle (Stückliste) tab. On the left side of the window, you'll find all the products or product variants in your store. On the right side of the window, you'll find all the products that are assigned to the bundle.
To assign or remove one or more products from the bundle, you can either drag and drop them or click one of the arrows in the middle of the window to move them to the respective side. You can also hold down the Shift key to select multiple products. To adjust the quantity of a sub-product, simply click the Quantity column in the corresponding row and enter the desired value. Once you've made all your adjustments, click Save product.
Creating and editing a bundle product as a variant
To create a bundle product as a variant product, simply use the corresponding Shopware function to generate variants. When doing so, select the Standard type under Configurator type.
Every generated variant is now also a bundle product, which can be edited just like an individual bundle product. To do this, simply select the corresponding variant in the Bundle (Stückliste) tab.
After selecting the variant, you can assign the sub-products to it. Once you've made all your adjustments, click Save product.
Not offering sub-products individually in the store
If you don't want a sub-product of the bundle to be available for individual purchase in the store, you can assign it to a category that isn't available in your store. Please note that the sub-products must always be marked as active.
Hiding bundle products in the WMS
If you don't want a bundle product to be displayed in the WMS App from Shopware WMS powered by Pickware, open the Basic information (Stammdaten) tab in the product details and, in the Free text fields area, enable the checkbox next to Hide in WMS App.
This way, only the actual sub-products will be displayed for picking in the WMS App.
If you choose this setting, you must select either Only show sub-products on partial delivery notes or Always show sub-products (without price) in the plugin configuration of the bundle plugin, otherwise you may run into problems printing the delivery note, or the delivery note may be empty.
If you want to set this option for all your bundle products, you can use the Shopware filter function and bulk edit. First, create a new filter profile to display all bundle products. To do this, click New filter in the Filter area of the product overview.
Then, as shown in the screenshot, add the attribute ATTRIBUTE.VIISONSETARTICLEACTIVE and use the ISTRUE operator to check whether this attribute is set.
You can then click the filter to display only bundle products. Note that if you've also configured bundles as variant products, they will only be displayed once you've checked Show variants in the Categories area of the product overview.
To then set the Hide in WMS App attribute for all filtered products (i.e., all bundle products), use the bulk edit function again. Select Attribute.pickwareNotRelevantForPicking and the set operator, enable the checkbox in the Value column, and finally click Apply change.
