You can find the general settings for all shipping extensions under Settings → Extensions → Shipping Labels General. If you're setting up Pickware for the first time, these settings need to be configured once and will then apply to all shipping carriers you use. After that, you also need to configure the settings for the specific shipping carriers you use.

Sales Channel
Here you can specify which of your connected Shopify stores ("Sales Channels") the following settings should apply to. By default, the settings apply to all connected stores. If you have only connected one Shopify store to this Pickware Admin, still select the All Sales Channels option. If you select a specific store, all fields are initially linked to the general settings. You can tell by the chain icon and the grayed-out fields. Click on the icon to remove the link and enter individual values, while other fields remain linked. |
Cash on Delivery Payment Methods
Select all payment methods here that are cash-on-delivery payment methods. Cash on delivery will then be automatically activated when creating a shipping label for orders with these payment methods, provided that a cash-on-delivery label hasn't already been created.
Sender Address
Enter the sender address here that should be printed on the shipping labels.
Can I use sender references instead of the address?
If you have stored sender references in the DHL Business Customer Portal, you can also use these in Pickware. To do this, open the stored sender address in the Pickware Admin under Settings → Extensions → Shipping Labels General and enter the following note in the Address Addition (Adresszusatz) field: Absenderreferenz <Referenz-ID>.
Pickware automatically recognizes the entry in the address addition and transmits the stored sender reference to DHL when creating the shipping label. If no such entry exists, the sender address stored in Pickware is used as usual.
Customs Information for Export
When creating a shipping label, export documents can be created directly for some shipping carriers, provided the corresponding information has been stored.
Some information is maintained directly in the respective product properties in the Pickware Admin. You can find an overview of this here.
For each shipping carrier, the corresponding information must be stored under Settings → Extensions → Shipping Labels. You can find more information in the tooltip for the respective field in the Pickware Admin.
