In Pickware for Shopware 6, you can have invoices created automatically in two ways: when picking in the WMS App via the document printing of the shipping method, or via a flow. Use only one of the two ways so that the shipping method and the flow don't both create an invoice at the same time.
Create an invoice when picking via the shipping method
In the shipping method, under Settings → Shipping → [Shipping method] → Pickware WMS Document Printing, you define which documents are created and printed when picking in the WMS App. If you select the invoice there, it is created automatically.
Create an invoice via a flow
In the Flow Builder, you create the invoice with the action Create document, for example in the flow Pickware ERP Completely Shipped. This flow only triggers when items are actually shipped, that is, via the Ship order button or in the WMS App. Simply changing the state is not enough.
Put all conditions for invoice creation into a single flow, for example "Billing country Switzerland → no invoice, otherwise invoice". With two separate flows, each flow only checks its own conditions: if one flow holds back the invoice, the other can still create one.
Create an invoice and send it by email without printing it
If the invoice should be created but not printed, remove it from the WMS document printing of the shipping method. Instead, create it in the shipping flow with the action Create document and send it by email as an attachment.
Invoice for partial deliveries
Pickware creates one invoice per order covering all line items. Partial invoices for individual partial deliveries do not exist. Plugins for partial deliveries that create multiple deliveries per order are not supported.
For partial deliveries, we recommend the following: in the shipping method, under Pickware WMS Document Printing, have only the delivery note printed. Create the invoice via a flow with the trigger Pickware → Shipping → Completely shipped and send it by email. Alternatively, you create the invoice at the first partial shipment and only send it with the last parcel.
A partial delivery note with the line items actually shipped is only created by the WMS App, not by the flow action for creating documents. If the shipping method prints the delivery note, you don't need an additional delivery note flow. You can find more about the process in How do I carry out partial deliveries?
