Why does my cash point closing fail or why does the cash register report show incorrect times?

Common causes when the cash point closing in Pickware POS for Shopware 6 fails or the cash register report shows incorrect times.

If the cash point closing fails or the cash register report shows incorrect values, the cause may lie in your shop. Here you will find the known cases.

The times in the cash register report are off by one to two hours

If the PDF of the cash register report shows different times than the summary in the Shopware Admin, the Shopware user Pickware Scanner may have the timezone set to UTC. In the Shopware Admin, open Settings → System → Users & Permissions, select the user Pickware Scanner and set the correct timezone.

The PDF of the cash register report cannot be generated

If an error appears when generating the cash register report as a PDF, for example a 500 error, contact our support.

The error occurs on all cash registers

If an error occurs on all cash registers at a location, the cause usually lies in the shop, for example outdated plugins, because the cash registers communicate directly with your shop.

Update Pickware ERP and Pickware POS and then the POS App, see How do I install updates for Pickware POS and Pickware WMS? If the error persists, upload the device logs and contact our support, see How can I send an error report from the apps?

Entries are missing in the CashBook

Attention: Do not manually post missing sales as a return and a new sale. Otherwise, stock and revenue will be booked twice.

If entries are missing in the CashBook after an update or other errors occur during the cash point closing, update Pickware ERP, Pickware POS and the POS App, upload the device logs and contact support.
