Why isn't my stocktake count being saved?

In Pickware for Shopware 6, an entered count is only saved once you apply the count. Here's how.

A value you enter in the Counted column on the Uncounted tab in the Shopware Admin is not saved yet. Only when you apply the count does it appear on the Counted tab. If you switch tabs or leave the page beforehand, the entered value is reset to 0. This is the most common reason why counts seem to get lost.

How to save your counts

  1. Enter the counted amount. To do so, click the edit icon at the end of the row, enter the quantity in the Counted column, and confirm. If the expected amount is correct, you can apply it instead with the blue arrow in the row.

  2. Select the rows using the checkbox on the left. The selection is kept when you switch pages.

  3. Click Apply all selected counts above the table.

Alternatively, you can save a single bin location via the context menu at the end of the row with Save stock count. For products on the Unknown bin location, the entry is called Save product count.

Note: The entire bin location is always saved. Save stock count therefore only works if all rows of this bin location are checked. Pickware applies entries without a count amount as 0, see What happens to products that I don't count on a bin location?

How to check that everything is saved

Switch to the Counted tab. Every saved count is listed there with product, bin location, counted quantity, and difference. If a bin location you counted is missing, enter the values on the Uncounted tab again and apply them.

You can find more about counting in the Admin in Stocktake in the Shopware Admin.
