Connecting your Shopify Shop to Pickware is easy and takes just a few steps.
Open the Shopify App Store and click Install on the left. |
Next, you need to log in to your Pickware Account. If you don't have a Pickware Account yet, or you want to migrate an existing Pickware Account from the Shopware 5 world, please first follow the steps in this article. Otherwise, you can directly select the Pickware Admin here that you want to connect your Shopify Shop to. |
If the connection was successful, you will now land in the Pickware Admin. You can find the Shopify Shop you just connected at the bottom left under Sales Channels. |
Product import and Shopify location
As soon as your Shopify Shop has been successfully connected to the Pickware Admin, a product import is started. This transfers all products from your connected Shopify Shop, along with their stock at your default location, to Pickware. This way, you can start testing right away. You can find more information about the Shopify location and the product import here:
Connecting another Shopify Shop
You connect another Shopify Shop in the same way as the first one. Pickware recognizes products with an identical SKU as the same product, and the shops share the stock. If products have different SKUs in the shops, duplicates are created in Pickware. How to handle this is described in How do I handle product duplicates in Pickware?.
Pickware does not create products in Shopify and does not synchronize products between your shops. An export/import app is suitable for managing products across multiple shops. The orders from all shops can be combined in one Picking profile. You can define the configuration, for example for DHL or DATEV, per Sales Channel.
App uninstalled or instance restored
To start over, create a new instance in the Pickware Account via the dropdown at the top left and connect your Shopify Shop as described above.
If your instance was restored, install the Pickware App again in your Shopify Shop and log in with your Pickware Account.
