Before you can assign DPD products to your shipping methods and automatically create labels, you first need to make a few settings.
Registering with DPD
To create shipping labels for DPD in Pickware, you need a DelisID from DPD. Whether you already have a DelisID and where to find it depends on which contract you have used so far:
MyDPD – The DelisID corresponds to your username at MyDPD, the password is different. You should have been informed of your password separately; if not, please contact your DPD representative.
DPD Print – You can find your DelisID in the contract portal under Konfiguration → Mandantenverwaltung.
None of these (for example myDPD Business or if you have not used DPD before) – In this case, you must apply for activation of DPD Web Services. To do this, fill out this form and send it to your responsible DPD depot to receive your DelisID and password.
DPD Settings
Before making the settings for DPD, make sure you have already made the general settings for all shipping service providers. You can find them under Settings → Extensions → Versandetiketten allgemein (Shipping Labels General). These settings apply to all shipping service providers you use. You can find all the details here.
You can find the settings specifically for DPD shipping under Settings → Extensions → DPD.
Sales Channel
Here you can define which of your connected Shopify shops ("Sales Channels") the following settings should apply to. By default, the settings apply to all connected shops. If you have only connected one Shopify shop to this Pickware Admin, still select the Alle Verkaufskanäle (All Sales Channels) option. If you select a specific shop, all fields are initially linked to the general settings. You can tell by the chain icon and the grayed-out fields. Click the icon to unlink and make individual settings, while other fields remain linked. |
DPD Login
Enter your DelisID and the corresponding password here. If you use the testing web service, activate the corresponding checkbox.
DPD Customer Information

Data Protection Settings
Transmit customer's email address to DPD – This option must be activated if the customer is to receive information about parcel tracking and delivery notifications.
Transmit customer's phone number to DPD – Activate this option to transmit the customer's phone number to DPD
Label Creation
Here you can define the paper format (A4 or A6) for your DPD labels.
