With magnalister, you can offer your products on other platforms such as Amazon and eBay without having to worry about stock synchronization or order imports. You don't need to manually maintain your products on every platform yourself — magnalister can do this for you. You can download the app from the Shopify App Store.
Ideally, you maintain your products in your Shopify Admin and upload them from there via magnalister to the desired sales platform. The magnalister orders are then transferred to Pickware as usual, and can be further processed there via the Admin or the WMS App. To make this work, all products sold via magnalister need a physical product in the shop that they're linked to, with the link established via the SKU.
You can find more information on installation and setup directly at magnalister.
Managing Amazon sales via magnalister in Pickware/Shopify
For Amazon sales, magnalister distinguishes between FBA (= Fulfilled by Amazon) and FBM (= Fulfilled by merchant). Below you'll find some notes and tips on handling these orders, especially regarding picking with Pickware.
FBM
FBM orders reach your Shopify Admin or Pickware Admin via synchronization. There, they can be processed like regular Shopify orders.
FBA
For FBA orders, Amazon handles the shipping. Stock levels for these orders should therefore be maintained in Amazon's Seller Central. This is also where the corresponding stock receipts and issues are recorded. These stock levels can't be managed in Shopify and therefore also not in Pickware.
Since FBA orders also reach your Shopify Admin or Pickware Admin via magnalister's synchronization, you should set your magnalister settings so that these orders are imported as already fulfilled. Since the WMS App only displays orders with the order status Open, this helps you avoid stock errors caused by accidentally picking the same order twice.
magnalister also recommends giving FBA stock its own product number in your Admin, to distinguish it from your regular stock.
In magnalister, you can also determine whether FBA orders should reduce stock in the shop. However, this setting is not recommended, since it would otherwise reduce the stock levels in your Pickware warehouses.
All FBA orders receive a special logo in the order overview at magnalister.
How can I export the marketplace order number in my DATEV export, in order to reconcile marketplace payouts?
If you sell via marketplaces like Amazon or eBay and import these sales with magnalister into Pickware, you can have the respective marketplace order number output in the DATEV export in the Auftragsnum column.
This way, you can later clearly match marketplace payouts in DATEV to the corresponding invoices in Pickware.
For this to work, the marketplace order number must be automatically transferred into the Pickware field "External Order Number". For this, Shopify provides you with the metafield "External Order Number (Pickware)".
How do I set up the transfer?
You therefore need an automation that transfers the order number from these attributes into the Pickware metafield. magnalister stores the marketplace order numbers in the Additional Details of an order.
In Shopify Flow, you'll find these values under customAttributes. For Amazon, for example, the field is called "Amazon Order-ID". Below you'll find a step-by-step guide on how to create this automation with the Shopify Flow App for Amazon orders:

Your finished workflow should then look like this:
Tip:
If you use other marketplaces via magnalister (e.g. eBay), you can set up the corresponding flow in the same way. You just need to adjust the field name in the If condition (customAttributes_item.key) to your desired marketplace.
The additional field must be filled in Pickware before the invoice is created, so that the marketplace order number is output as the order number in the DATEV export.
So use the "Order created" trigger, so that the value is set right when the order comes in.
How can I automatically transfer invoices created in Pickware to Amazon, Metro, or Kaufland?
If you import your marketplace orders via magnalister and create the invoices in Pickware, you can have these invoices automatically transferred to Amazon, Metro, and Kaufland. This makes the invoices directly available for download to your customers in the respective marketplace account — this is mandatory for Amazon Business in particular.
For magnalister to automatically upload the invoices generated by Pickware, the tool needs, in addition to the invoice link, the corresponding invoice number. This is automatically passed as an additional parameter to the invoice URL. This allows magnalister to clearly identify the invoice and assign it directly to the matching order on the marketplace.
How do I set up automatic invoice upload from Pickware to magnalister?
If you use the current version of magnalister as a marketplace integration for Shopify and generate your invoices and credit notes via Pickware, you can conveniently activate the upload for the marketplaces of your choice.
Go to Marketplace → Configuration → Invoices | VCS and in Invoice Transmission Options, select the setting Invoice upload by Pickware.
Once you've activated this, magnalister will automatically upload the invoice generated via Pickware to the respective marketplace order from now on.
Thanks to this integration, you no longer need to manually export invoices from Pickware and upload them to the marketplace. Your Amazon customers simply receive their invoice automatically in their buyer account. Manual errors from tedious matching are avoided, since every invoice is clearly matched via the transmitted invoice number. Even credit notes are automatically transferred and updated with every new correction.
