Installing Pickware
To start the 30-day trial period for Pickware in your Shopware 6 shop, you need a Pickware account and the installed Pickware extension. You can start the connection process from two sides.
You can install Pickware either via your Shopware Admin or via Composer. Once you've decided on one option, the extensions must be updated and uninstalled using the same method. Below you'll find the instructions for installation via Shopware Admin. All information on installation via Composer can be found in a separate article.
Starting from your Shopware Admin
This is the easiest and recommended way to try out Pickware.
Download the free Pickware extension from the Shopware Store and install it in your Shopware Admin.
Once you've installed Pickware, a pop-up window will appear when you open your Shopware Admin. Alternatively, you'll find a corresponding tile if you scroll down a bit on your dashboard. Start the connection process by clicking the Connect now button.
In the next step, you'll create a Pickware account. A trial license is automatically created and assigned to your shop.
Note: If you already have an account, you can log in here as well. In this case, please contact our support afterwards so that we can activate your trial period.
Your Shopware 6 shop and your Pickware extension are now connected, and you can start your trial period. Under Settings → Pickware you'll see further information about your current plan. The Change plan & device licenses button takes you directly to your Pickware account.
Alternative: Starting from your Pickware account
If you already have a Pickware account, you can use this method instead.
Log in to your existing Pickware account.
In the tile Try Pickware in another shop, click Try now.
Select the option for Shopware 6.
In the next step, enter the URL of your shop and complete the process.
Now switch to your Shopware 6 Admin and install the Pickware extension there from the Shopware 6 Store.
A pop-up will then open. Click Connect now and then Confirm to complete the connection and start the trial period.
Booking a package and licenses (POS/WMS)
To book packages and licenses, log in to your Pickware account and select the menu item Billing → Plan & device licenses.
First, choose between monthly and annual payment.
Then choose one of our packages. You can find an overview of all features here.
Now select how many licenses you need for WMS and/or POS. One license is required per WMS scanner and per POS register.
The numbers shown here represent the total number of your WMS/POS licenses. So if you want to add one license, click the + once.
The total price will now be shown below. Click Checkout to complete your booking. You can find an overview of prices here if needed.
In the next step, if you haven't already, enter a billing address and select a payment method. Finally, click Subscribe now.
When you book a WMS/POS license, we go by your current payment model. So if you pay annually for your WMS licenses and add another one, that one will also be an annual license. If you're interested in short-term licenses (e.g. for a trade fair), please contact our support.
