How can I transfer products from multiple bin locations at the same time?

Transfer multiple products efficiently via an intermediate bin location or book large quantities via CSV.

Here is a suggested approach if you want to quickly transfer products from multiple bin locations at the same time using the WMS App. It makes sense to use bin location labels for this.

  1. First, you need a suitable container, a trolley, or something similar that serves as an intermediate bin location. Create a new bin location for your intermediate bin location in the Shopware Admin and create a bin location label.

  2. Next, move through your warehouse, take the desired products from their original bin location, and place them on your trolley or similar. At the same time, perform a stock transfer each time in the WMS App using the Stock movement (Warenbewegung) function. By scanning the bin locations with the scanner, you save yourself from having to search for the bin locations manually.

  3. In the last step, you transfer all products that are now on the intermediate bin location to their final bin location in the same way.

  4. When you are done, switch to the Products and bin locations (Produkte und Lagerplätze) mode via the app menu and scan the label of your intermediate bin location. This lets you check whether the system still incorrectly shows any products there.

Transferring large quantities via CSV

If you need to move many products at once, for example for a supplier return or a trade fair warehouse, transferring via CSV is faster than performing each stock movement individually.

This also works across warehouses as a relative stock import: Per product, you need one row with a positive quantity for the destination bin location and a counter row with a negative quantity for the source bin location.
