About the Plugin
The Export for DATEV powered by Pickware plugin is designed to automatically export accounting-relevant business transactions (receivables and received payments) from your Shopware shop to DATEV, thereby replacing the manual, document-based entry of postings in DATEV.
The plugin generates two types of finished postings. Postings for receivables are automatically generated based on invoices. Postings for payments are optional and can be generated manually or automatically. In the plugin configuration, you can also define for which payment methods and at which status change a payment should be generated automatically. You can find more information about the postings used in this article.
General Notes
Please note that the plugin does not guarantee tax-related completeness or correctness. This can only be ensured, if necessary, with the help of a tax advisor who knows your individual circumstances.
The data import into DATEV is done via CSV files in DATEV format 510 (posting batch file). You can find a sample export here.
The default chart of accounts is based on SKR 03 or SKR 04. If you use a different chart of accounts, you can set this in the Shopware Admin.
Receivables and payments are automatically created for old orders that were received before the plugin was installed. See our point in the FAQ for more information.
The plugin only exports postings that belong to outgoing invoices. Incoming invoices (e.g., for Pickware supplier orders) must be posted directly in DATEV.
The plugin is currently intended for use in Germany only. Other tax rates are not supported.
The plugin requires that the template for invoices with ID 1 and the template for cancellation invoices with ID 4 are stored in the database. Different IDs or additional document templates for invoices cannot be processed by the plugin.
