Redelivery

Too little merchandise delivered

To redeliver merchandise to a customer that, for example, was accidentally not shipped, first correct the incorrect Shipped value of the respective order. In our example, the customer ordered, among other things, the item "Samba Hazelnut", which according to the system was delivered or picked (the Shipped value is "1"). The item was actually not included in the package, which is why it must be marked as "not shipped" (Shipped value "0"), so that the stock levels in the system are correct again and the item is available for shipping.

To correct the Shipped value, open the order in the backend and switch to the Line items tab:

After you have corrected the Shipped value and clicked Update, confirm the stocking in, so that the stock levels in your warehouse are corrected.

Note: Keep in mind that the stocking in here takes place at the default storage location, and this might not be the storage location from which the item was actually taken. Therefore, check your stock levels and make corresponding stock transfers if necessary.

Afterwards, change the order status from Fully delivered to Partially delivered. The order will now be displayed again in the WMS App and can be picked as usual.

Wrong merchandise delivered

If you accidentally sent the wrong merchandise to a customer, first correct the incorrect Shipped values, and add the missing item to the order in order to ship it. In the second step, two cases need to be distinguished:

  • If the customer has sent the item back to you, put it back on the storage location it was taken from. The stock levels here should be correct, since the item was never taken out.

  • If the item stays with the customer, adjust the stock level of the incorrectly sent item, so that the physical stock levels are correct again.

If in one of these cases you cannot clearly identify which storage location the item was taken from, a stocktake might be necessary.
