Not every UPS account can create cash on delivery shipments. This requires a “Daily” or “Drop Ship” account. The account type “Occasional”, however, is not supported by the UPS interface for creating cash on delivery shipments. If you see the message “The COD option is unavailable with the selected service, UPS account type, and/or with the shipments origin/destination.” when creating cash on delivery shipments, this is likely the cause. Please contact your UPS account manager to have your account type changed.
