Connecting Claude to Pickware (MCP Connector)

With the Pickware MCP Connector, you can connect Claude directly to your Pickware Admin and use chat to access your ERP data, run bulk changes, or handle routine tasks – without clicking through menus.

What you can do with Claude and Pickware

  • Query data – stock levels, open purchase orders, order volume, picking throughput, daily reports.

Coming soon:

  • Conditional bulk changes – adjust products, shipping methods, and print templates in a single prompt.

  • Create pick profiles ad hoc – e.g. for a spontaneous campaign or a sale.

  • Routine admin – recurring tasks via prompt instead of a click path.

Claude performs every action with the permissions of your Pickware user. Whatever the user is not allowed to do in the Admin, Claude cannot do either.

Requirements

  • Active Pickware license.

  • Claude account (Connectors are available on the Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans).

  • Pickware user with permission to view the personal MCP URL.

Setting up the connector

  1. Copy the MCP URL: In your Pickware Admin under Settings → Pickware AI → MCP Connector.

  2. Connect Pickware in Claude: In Claude, under Settings → Connectors, search the directory for Pickware and click Connect. In the following dialog, paste the MCP URL from step 1.

  3. Sign in: You'll be redirected to the Pickware Admin and sign in there as usual. Claude then receives a token with your user's permissions.

  4. Done. In every new chat, you can now work directly with your Pickware data.

Example prompts

  • "Which products are below the reorder point and need to be reordered?"

  • "What did we order from supplier XY last quarter?"

  • "Create a pick profile for our Black Friday campaign that only includes products from the Sale category."

  • "Set the default shipping method for all products of the brand Acme to Express."

  • "Where do I have a problem today – stock, shipping, or picking?"

Security & permissions

  • The MCP server runs in your own Pickware Admin. There is no additional central data transfer.

  • The connection applies only to your user. Employees connect Claude to their own Pickware Admin user account.

  • You can disconnect the connection at any time in Claude under Connectors, or revoke access in the Pickware Admin.
