To use Pickware for Shopify, you need a Pickware account. If you haven't had an account before, follow the steps under Creating a new account. If you already have a Pickware account from the Shopware 5 world, you can migrate it. In this case, follow the steps under Migrating an existing account.
Creating a new account
You can create a new account at https://account.pickware.com/signup/create-account. Enter your email address and click Create account. | |
You'll now receive an email. Click the button in it to confirm your address. | |
This takes you to the next step of account creation. Click I have a Shopify shop here. | |
Fill in the fields and click Continue. | |
Enter your desired Pickware Admin URL here – you'll see a preview of the URL below the input field – and choose a default language and default currency. Then click Get started. | |
Your Pickware Admin will now be created within a few minutes. Once the process is complete, the button will turn blue and take you to your Pickware Admin. |
Note: In the next step, you must install the Pickware App from the Shopify Store in your Shopify shop. Click the corresponding button in the green info box to do so. You'll find all the details on connecting your Shopify shop with the Pickware Admin in this article.
Migrating an existing account
If you already have a Pickware account from the Shopware 5 world, you can start the migration and the associated trial phase directly in the account management.
To do this, log in to your Pickware account and make sure your Shopware 5 shop is selected in the top left. Either click Migration in the menu bar on the left or use the Start migration button displayed at the top of the home page. | |
Select I have a Shopify shop. | |
Choose whether you want to create a new Pickware Admin and enter the relevant information. Then click Get started. | |
Your new Pickware Admin is now being created in the background. Alternatively, you can also use an existing Pickware Admin. In this case, the following window appears. |
Note: In the next step, you must install the Pickware App from the Shopify Store in your Shopify shop. Click the respective Go to Shopify App Store button and follow the instructions in this article.
