In this article, we'll show you all the ways returns can come in through your Shopify Admin. After a return comes in via Shopify, it's automatically imported into Pickware and can be processed further there.
Alternatively, you can also create returns yourself directly in your Pickware Admin or via the WMS App. You can find out how this works in a separate article.
Return request by the shop customer
Within an order, your customers can request returns themselves. In Shopify, the return then has the status Return requested, and in Pickware the status Angefragt (Requested).
You can then process the returns either directly in the Shopify Admin, in the Pickware Admin, or with the WMS App.
Creating a return in Shopify
If you create a return for an order yourself from within the Shopify Admin, you'll then find it with the status Return in progress in your Shopify Admin, and with the status Angekündigt (Announced) in Pickware.
You can then process the returns either directly in the Shopify Admin, in the Pickware Admin, or with the WMS App.
Return registration via a returns portal
Your customers can also create returns via a returns portal, such as 8returns or Shopify's own portal, Self-Serve Returns. You can find more information about this here.
