To reverse a specific sale, go to Sales history in the app menu and search for the relevant transaction.
Use the Return button to first select which items are to be returned.
You then enter return mode, where the selected items are already in the cart and the relevant customer account has been selected. The invoice number of the original transaction has already been added under Reference. Use the Return button to proceed to the next step. If you want to cancel the process, go to End return mode.
In the next window, you can select the payment method for the refund and process the refund. You then have the option to restock the goods. If restocking is not possible, for example because the goods are damaged, deactivate the option. To continue, click Save.
In the next step, the cancellation receipt is printed. As with a sale, you can also output it as a cancellation invoice in A4 format or send it to the customer by email. Click Done to complete the process.
After the refund has been made, the return is created in your Pickware Admin under Orders → Returns, and stock levels are increased again once the goods are restocked. In addition, a corresponding entry with a negative amount is created in the cash register report.
