A quote can be created either by the shop operator or directly by the customer, provided you have set this in the plugin configuration.
To create a quote for a customer as the shop operator, please follow the steps below.
Open the account of the customer for whom you want to create a new quote in the backend.
In the Data tab, in the Further information section, click the Create quote button, or alternatively, in the Quotes tab, click the Create new quote button. You will then automatically be redirected to the shop frontend in the context of the customer, i.e. you act in the frontend as if the customer had logged in themselves.
Add all items included in the quote to the shopping cart.
You can create the quote directly, or first adjust the quantities of the included items via Edit cart. From the shopping cart, you will then have the option to create the quote again.
Switch back to the backend and refresh the list of quotes in the Quotes tab of the customer account. The new quote is now ready for editing.
