Quotes Plugin Configuration

Under Settings → General Settings → Further Settings → Quotes you'll find the plugin configuration. Please check the settings after installing the plugin.

  • Show quotes in customer account – With this option, you determine whether customers can view quotes released for them and accept them themselves in the storefront. To do this, a Quotes menu item is added to the customer account in the storefront.

  • Allow quote requests – With this option, you determine whether customers should be given the option in the storefront to request quotes themselves.

  • Min. cart value for quote requests – With this option, you set a minimum cart value as a prerequisite for quote requests. This option requires that customers are allowed to make quote requests in the storefront (see option Allow quote requests).

  • Send email to shop owner on quote request – With this option, you control whether a short info email should be sent to the shop owner when a customer submits a quote request in the storefront. The email is sent to the email address stored under Settings → General Settings → Shop Settings → Basic Information.

  • Show info banner – The plugin offers the option to display explanatory info banners in the header area of the page, both when creating a quote from the backend and when accepting a quote. These banners can be closed by the customer/shop owner using an “X” button. Please note that this option has no effect on the display of the banner for the quote mode. This banner contains the button for exiting the quote mode and is therefore always displayed when a quote is accepted.

  • Limit quotes by time by default – With this option, you determine whether quotes are time-limited by default. This default value is applied to the quote when the draft quote is created and can be individually adjusted per quote if needed.

  • Default validity period – In addition to the option Limit quotes by time by default, this option allows you to set a default duration for time-limited quotes. This default value is applied to the quote when the draft quote is created and can be individually adjusted per quote if needed.

  • Default comment for quote PDF – In this field, you can store a default text for the comment on the quote PDF. This text is automatically applied to the comment field when a quote is created. The text can still be adjusted in the quote detail window.

  • Predefined copy recipients for quote emails (CC) – Here you can enter multiple email addresses separated by commas, to which the quote email will be sent in copy (CC). The addresses are visible to the customer. Here too, the recipients can still be edited before the quote email is sent.
