Since July 2024, Shopware 5 has been in End of Life. This means Shopware no longer provides new features or bug fixes. However, security updates will continue to be provided until 2029 for a fee via the external service provider savefive. You can find more information on the Shopware blog.
Many merchants continue to rely on Shopware 5, as it is a stable and proven system with a large ecosystem. To ensure your shop continues to run reliably in the future, we at Pickware also continue to support Shopware 5 with security and compatibility updates for our extensions.
Pickware stays by your side
Even after the end of life, Pickware for Shopware 5 will continue to be supported. While our focus is on Pickware for Shopware 6, we guarantee support as well as security and compatibility updates for Shopware 5 for an indefinite period. Should anything change in this regard, we will inform you in good time via our usual communication channels.
To keep your shop running stably, we strongly recommend updating to the latest versions of our plugins and apps.
Requirements for Pickware support
To continue benefiting fully from our support, you should use at least the following versions:
✅ Shopware: 5.7
✅ Shopware ERP powered by Pickware: 7.0
✅ Shopware WMS powered by Pickware: 5.35
✅ Shopware POS powered by Pickware: 5.36
Only with these versions can we ensure that we can help you quickly and reliably in case of technical issues.
Future rental requirements for Shopware ERP
To operate Pickware in Shopware 5, a valid Shopware ERP rental will be required in the future. You can set this up directly in the Shopware Store.
What does this mean for you?
Are you already renting Shopware ERP? Then you don't need to do anything further.
Did you acquire Shopware ERP as part of your Shopware Professional Edition? Then you should start a rental now.
Previously, ERP was included in the Shopware Professional Edition. Since this edition no longer exists, the ERP rental must now be arranged separately. Without a rental, you no longer have a valid subscription for the ERP and can no longer use it. If you previously used ERP as part of your Shopware Professional Edition, you will automatically receive a 50% discount on the first 12 months of your rental. Shopware WMS and Shopware POS require a valid ERP rental
In the future, using our warehouse and POS solutions will also only be possible with an active ERP license.
